Gangotri

The next stoppage of the Chardham yatra is Gangotri after Yamunotri. The Gangotri holy site is dedicated to Goddess Ganga, which is situated on the bank of the Bhagirathi River in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The Ganga River is the most sacred and longest river in India.

Opening timing of Darshan: there are two slots to visit for the Darshan (i) 6:15 am to 2:00 pm. (ii) 3 pm to 9:30 pm

Kedarnath

The third holy site of yatra, which falls in the Chardham Yatra, is Kedarnath. This temple is on the list of 12 Jyotirlingas and the most important temple among Panch Kedar. This holy site is situated in the lap of the Himalayas and near the bank of the Mandakini River.

Thus, to proceed with the journey ahead, the route you can start from is Gangotri, then Rudraprayag, Guptkashi, Phata, Rampur, Sitapur, Sonprayag, Gaurikund, and Kedarnath.

Opening timing of Darshan: You can visit the temple anytime, exactly between the hours of 3 pm and 5 pm. During this period, the gate is closed for Darshan.

Badrinath

The last stoppage of the yatra is Badrinath after Kedarnath. This holy site is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is situated between Nar and Narayana Parvat on the bank of the Alaknanda River.
