Ayodhya is a city located on the banks of holy river Saryu. It is an ancient city and the birthplace of Shri Rama. Many devotees visit Ayodhya for religious and cultural reasons. The second city in this tour is Varanasi (also known as Kashi or Banaras). This city dates back to the 11th century B.C. and is regarded as the spiritual capital of India. It is one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Prayagraj is the last city of this tour. Prayagraj was formerly known as Allahabad. It is one of the most spiritually significant and oldest continually inhabited cities in India. The city is called Teerthraj or the "King of Pilgrimage Sites.”
The first city in this tour is Ayodhya. Ayodhya is the birthplace of Shri Rama and is situated on the banks of the Sarayu river. It is a pivotal city in the Hindu epic Ramayana. The places we will visit in Ayodhya are Hanuman Garhi which is a famous 10th-century fort-like temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Kanak Bhawan which is also known as "Golden Palace,” it is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, Sita Ki Rasoi is one of the most sacred and historic sites in Ayodhya, Tulsi Smarak Bhawan is a prominent culture and spiritual place and it is dedicated to the saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas, and Dashrath Mahal which is a significant temple and historical site.
The next city is Prayagraj. This city is a holy and historic city in Uttar Pradesh. The city is famous for Triveni Sangam and Kumbh Mela. It was formerly called Allahabad. The places we will visit in Prayagraj are Triveni Sangam which is a meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the Saraswati rivers. The next site is the Anand Bhavan which is a historic house museum in Prayagraj. The next site is Khusro Bagh which is a large 40-acre walled Mughal garden and burial complex. The next site is Shri Bade Hanuman Ji Mandir which is also known as Lete Hanuman Mandir (Reclining Hanuman Temple). It is one of the most unique religious sites in Prayagraj.
The next and last city is Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world. The city brings many Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred waters and perform funeral rites. The city is famous for its river ghats, devotion, and temples. The places we will visit in Varanasi are Kal Bhairav Temple, it is dedicated to the powerful and raging form of Lord Shiva. Here Lord Shiva is known as "Kotwal of Kashi" (protector of the city). It is believed that every devotee visiting Kashi must seek permission from Kaal Bhairav before visiting Baba Vishwanath. Then later we will proceed to see the evening Ganga Aarti. The next site is Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the most famous and holiest temples, visited by millions of devotees yearly. It is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The next site is Annapurna Temple which is dedicated to Goddess Annapurna, the Hindu goddess of nourishment and food. The next temple is Bharat Mata Temple which is a patriotic shrine in India. It is a temple dedicated entirely to the nation of India. The next site is Sarnath which is one of the most profoundly important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. The next site is Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. 'Sankat Mochan' means "the remover of all troubles or sorrows." The next site is Tulsi Manas Mandir which is dedicated to the great saint and poet Goswami Tulsidas. The next and last site is Durga Temple which is also known as Durga Kund Mandir. It is deeply revered by Hindus and is a major stop for pilgrims and tourists in Kashi.
