Day 1: Monday – Arrive Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Lake Duluti Serena, located approximately 45 minutes from the airport and offering a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing at the hotel and enjoying its serene surroundings. Dinner and overnight at Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort & Spa.

Day 2: Tuesday – Arusha to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 150 km away and around 2 hours and 30 minutes by road. The park is famous for its diverse wildlife and its tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, enjoy the beautiful views across the Great Rift Valley before relaxing at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive in the national park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Wednesday – Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast, continue your safari journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive covers approximately 235 km and takes around five hours, with opportunities for game viewing along the way. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains, abundant wildlife and spectacular natural scenery. Arrive at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Thursday – Full Day Serengeti Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive across the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. This is an excellent opportunity to search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs and other wildlife inhabiting the plains. Alternatively, you may take an optional early-morning hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti, followed by a memorable bush breakfast, before continuing with the full-day game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Friday – Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through the historic Olduvai Gorge. The journey covers approximately 200 km and takes around four hours. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge, spectacularly positioned on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views of the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Saturday – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game-viewing experience with a picnic lunch. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and a variety of big cats. Subject to time and local arrangements, you may also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai village. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Sunday – Ngorongoro to Arusha – Extension or Home
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive back to Arusha, covering approximately 200 km in around 3 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Thereafter, proceed with your onward travel arrangements, chosen extension, or transfer for your departure.
