Day 1: Nairobi – Sweetwaters
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to Eka Hotel, where light refreshments will be served and a safari briefing will be conducted. Thereafter, depart Nairobi and drive towards OlPejeta Conservancy, covering approximately 220 km in around 3.5 hours. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure or enjoy an optional game drive in the conservancy. A selection of additional excursions is also available and can be arranged and paid for locally. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp or similar.

Day 2: Sweetwaters – Full Day
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the beautiful Sweetwaters Conservancy, offering excellent opportunities to see Kenya’s diverse wildlife. Return to the camp for breakfast and enjoy some time to relax before lunch. In the afternoon, proceed on another game drive, including visits to the fascinating chimpanzee and rhino sanctuaries. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp or similar.

Day 3: Sweetwaters – Lake Elmenteita
After breakfast, depart Sweetwaters and drive to the scenic Lake Elmenteita, approximately 265 km away and around 3.5 hours by road. Lake Elmenteita is a paradise for bird lovers, with an estimated 300 bird species recorded in the area. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch followed by leisure time at the lodge, where you may relax by the swimming pool or enjoy a massage. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in Soysambu Conservancy, with opportunities to encounter the region’s abundant birdlife and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp or similar.

Day 4: Lake Elmenteita – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Elmenteita and travel to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey covers approximately 360 km and takes around 5.5 hours. Arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting game drive through the Mara, renowned for its spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Full Day
Enjoy another memorable day in the magnificent Maasai Mara. Start with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Alternatively, you may choose an optional hot-air balloon safari over the Mara, followed by a special bush breakfast with sparkling refreshments. Spend the remainder of the morning at leisure before lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Full Day
Continue exploring the Maasai Mara with another full day of wildlife experiences. Enjoy a morning game drive followed by breakfast, or choose the optional early-morning balloon safari and bush breakfast. After some leisure time at the lodge, enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. This additional day in the Mara provides further opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and return to Nairobi by road, covering approximately 325 km and taking around six hours. Alternatively, you may choose a morning flight from the Mara to Nairobi at an additional cost. Upon arrival in Nairobi, refreshments will be served at Eka Hotel before your final transfer to the airport for your outbound international flight, or you may continue with your chosen extension.

Maasai Mara Park Regulations
Road Safaris
All road departures from the Maasai Mara National Reserve must exit the reserve no later than 10:00 AM. Any departure after 10:00 AM will attract an additional day's park fees.
Flying Safaris
Guests departing from the Maasai Mara by air must arrive at the airstrip no later than 10:00 AM for morning flights. Afternoon flights departing after 12:00 PM will automatically attract an additional day's park fees.
