






Day 1: Arrival in Taipei
Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Taipei by private car with driver only. No guide will accompany the airport transfer. After check-in, the remainder of the day will be free for you to relax or explore Taipei at your own leisure.

Day 2: Taipei to Sun Moon Lake
After breakfast, begin your Taiwan round-island journey from central Taipei and travel to the beautiful Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area. Sun Moon Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Taiwan and is named for the distinctive shapes of its eastern and western sections, which resemble the sun and crescent moon.
The area is also the ancestral home of the Thao indigenous people, offering a wonderful combination of natural scenery and indigenous culture. After lunch, enjoy a scenic tour around Sun Moon Lake. Visit ItaThao, an indigenous village where you can learn about the local Thao culture and lifestyle. Continue to Ci'en Pagoda, an iconic landmark built by former President Chiang Kai-shek in memory of his mother.
The tour continues to Xuanzang Temple, a peaceful Buddhist temple dedicated to the famous monk Xuanzang, followed by Wenwu Temple, an impressive temple dedicated to the Gods of Literature and Martial Arts. Your English-speaking guide will provide information about the history and significance of the attractions.

Day 3: Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung
After breakfast, continue your journey south to Tainan, the oldest city in Taiwan and a destination rich in history and cultural heritage.
Visit Fort Zeelandia, a historic fortress originally constructed by the Dutch East India Company during its administration of western Taiwan. Continue with a walk through Anping Old Street, one of Taiwan's oldest historic streets, where you can discover traditional shops and local specialties. Lunch will be at your own arrangement.
After lunch, continue to Kaohsiung, the vibrant harbor city of southern Taiwan. Upon arrival, visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, one of Taiwan's most important Buddhist centers. The monastery is renowned for its Great Buddha Land and impressive Buddhist statues.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to learn about Buddhist teachings and the development of Buddhism in Taiwan from a knowledgeable monk.

Day 4: Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung
After breakfast, travel south toward Kenting National Park, Taiwan's first national park, known for its dramatic coastline, tropical landscapes, geological formations, and marine biodiversity.
Visit Maopitou, or "Cat's Nose," named for its distinctive shape. Continue to Chuanfan Rock, a famous coastal rock formation resembling a ship's sail. The tour then proceeds to Eluanpi Lighthouse, a historic lighthouse originally constructed during the Qing Dynasty and later recognized as one of Taiwan's Eight Views during the Japanese colonial period.
Continue to Longpan Park, a scenic coral limestone plateau offering spectacular views over the Pacific Ocean. After exploring Kenting, travel toward Taitung via the scenic South Link Highway. Arrive in Zhiben and enjoy a relaxing evening at the area's famous hot-spring resort.
Important: Hotel Royal Chihpen is scheduled for renovation from March 01, 2026, until further notice. During this period, accommodation may be changed to Sheraton Taitung or a similar hotel. Please note that the alternative hotel may not provide hot-spring facilities.

Day 5: Taitung – East Coast National Scenic Area – Hualien – Yilan
After breakfast, continue along Taiwan's spectacular East Coast National Scenic Area, known for its untouched coastal landscapes and unique geological formations.
Visit Xiaoyeliu (FugangGeopark), famous for naturally formed rock formations created by weathering and sea erosion. Continue to Sanxiantai, an offshore island connected to the mainland by its distinctive cross-sea bridge.
Next, visit Shitiping, a remarkable coastal geological area featuring sea cliffs, rock platforms, sea grooves, and other formations created through millions of years of erosion.
From Hualien to Yilan, enjoy a comfortable one-way train journey while taking in the scenery. Upon arrival in Yilan, check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 6: Yilan – Taipei
After breakfast, visit the King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery, internationally recognized for its whisky produced using pure water sources from Taiwan's mountain ranges. Explore the distillery and learn about the whisky-making process and maturation in oak barrels.
Continue to the National Center for Traditional Arts, a cultural park showcasing Taiwan's traditional architecture, arts, crafts, performances, and cultural heritage. Visitors can explore exhibitions, traditional workshops, puppet performances, pottery, and other cultural experiences. After completing the sightseeing, travel by bus back to Taipei. You will be dropped off at your hotel or designated drop-off point.

Day 7: Taipei City Morning Tour & Departurei
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day guided sightseeing tour of Taipei's famous landmarks. Visit the National Palace Museum, home to an extensive collection of Chinese art and historical treasures. Continue to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, one of Taipei's most recognizable landmarks, followed by Longshan Temple, one of the city's most historic and important temples.After the morning sightseeing tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Enjoy some free time at leisure until your scheduled departure.At the appropriate time, you will be transferred by private vehicle with driver only to Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) for your onward flight.
